Walk n Work Hike Westwards from Dunk Rock Road

Our Walk ‘n Work hike this month will follow the route (well, 1/2 of the route) of Sunday’s Bimbler’s Bash 10km trail race. We won’t be running, and we’re only planning on only doing a ‘5k’. But we’ll inspect the trails and remove any small hazards that could trip, catch or otherwise impale any one of the 200+ runners who will be participating the next day. As with all our ‘Walk’n Work’ hikes, no motorized or heavy equipment allowed! So please join us for this early April stroll. You should bring along a set of garden clippers for trimming and wear comfortable shoes, a seasonable coat and your Land Trust hat. We’ll meet at the Dunk Rock Road entrance to Westwoods … plenty of parking next to the Bishop’s raspberry patch. We hope you can come. [est 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
