October 29, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Do you want to know where Cinderella, Curly Bill, George “Sleepy” Townsend (a professional baseball player), and many others are buried in Alder Brook Cemetery?
On Saturday, October 29th, and Sunday, October, 30th, 10 am – 2 pm, tour the cemetery where over twenty-five graves whose occupants have interesting stories will be identified. One man, who had both his thumbs amputated, a lady who died at the circus, another who died from the effects of drinking ice water, a slave and a slave owner, are among those included.
Signs with biographical information and photos will be posted at the grave sites. IPhone and IPad users can scan QR codes at the graves and listen to audio recordings and view additional photos.
Donations, suggested at $10/person, $20/family, are appreciated. All donations will be used to repair older grave stones and monuments. Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston Street (across from #344 & #368)
