Appalachian Mountain Club New Year’s Day Hike in Timberland Preserve: This two-hour family-friendly hike, which starts at 1 pm, will begin at the Rt. 80 trail head to the Timberland Preserve and follow a moderate pace to a point where the Iron Stream feeds into Upper Guilford Lake. The return trail will be leader’s choice.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have an AMC volunteer release agreement signed by a parent or legal guardian.
