Community Music School String Ensemble Concert at the Guilford Free Library

Join us for an afternoon of baroque music by the Community Music School String Ensemble. This amazing multi-generational string orchestra has members from age 8 to 80. String Ensemble members come from several shoreline towns (and beyond) to rehearse together. The music has a wide variety of styles from classical to pop and is featured at an intermediate to advanced level. Compared to its modest start in 2002, with just four children and one senior adult, the orchestra’s growth (now 40 members!) is a testament to its all-inclusive policy of being open to all intermediate to advanced string musicians, regardless of age and with no audition requirement.
