Family-Friendly Pre-Halloween Hike to Broomstick Ledges

The Appalachian Mountain Club is holding a family-friendly hike on Sunday, October 30, at 1 p.m. We will meet in the Bluff Head parking lot on Rt. 77 at 12:45 p.m. and cross the street to begin the hike to Broomstick Ledges. We will return to the parking lot via a woods road that creates a shorter loop than other routes in the Northwoods trail system. In honor of Halloween, please bring a mask for a group photo. The hike is approximately three miles and will follow a leisurely to moderate pace, depending on terrain. Children must be accompanied by an adult and must have an AMC volunteer release agreement signed by a parent or guardian.
