The Guilford Fair is Connecticut’s 2nd oldest agricultural fair. Established in 1859, the Fair is held each year during the third full weekend in September on the Fairgrounds in historic Guilford, Conn. Visit https://guilfordfair.org for details.
“A Library of Congress Local Legacy, the Guilford Fair has been produced by the Guilford Agricultural Society since 1859.
The event unfolds at the 30+-acre Guilford Fairgrounds in historic downtown Guilford and includes entertainment and fun for the entire family. Exhibits, animals, competitions, rides, food, bands, magic, the Guilford Fair Family Circus featuring the Flying Wallendas, and more.
Friday night, at 8:30 p.m., enjoy Living on a Bad Name, a Bon Jovi Tribute Band, and on Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., see Live and Let Die, the music of Paul McCartney featuring Tony Kishman. Sunday, Coyote River Band takes the stage at noon and 2:30 p.m. Multiple shows of Magic by Scott Jameson, a Zoo Show, and the Guilford Fair Family Circus run daily.

Pony, horse, and draft oxen pulling, an antique tractor pull, Children’s Zoo, agricultural and craft exhibits, demonstrations, and competitions. And, not to miss, the Fair parade at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Guilford Green. Exhibit departments include needlework, quilting, sewing, knitting, canning, fruit and vegetables, flowers, baking, crafts, animals, photography, art, and more.
