January 17, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Get fact-based information about the diversity of wildlife species in Connecticut.
CT Agricultural Station biologist Scott Williams Ph.D. is back for a follow up presentation on the wildlife that can be found on Connecticut’s shoreline and its impact on public health. This time he will be joined by Megan Linske Ph.D. The goal of the presentation is to provide Guilford residents with the information they need to appreciate and understand our open spaces.
This is the fourth presentation of the Guilford Conservation Commission’s Living with Nature Speaker Series.
Dr. Williams’s and Dr. Linsky’s presentations will have lots of trail cam pictures. They will also be available to answer questions about some of the new wildlife species that are beginning to be in evidence in Guilford. Both Dr. Williams and Dr. Linske are Guilford residents who work at the Connecticut Agricultural Station in New Haven.
Update: Guilford Wildlife and the Impact on Public Health is sponsored jointly by the Guilford Conservation Commission, Guilford Land Conservation Trust and the Guilford Free Library.
