Karen’s Garden – A Vision of Hope

Meet Andrew Kranichfeld, who pursued his dreams after losing his sight from cancer to become an author of children’s books. A librarian will read his first published book, Karen’s Garden, and then the author will talk about being blind. Children are welcome to ask any questions they may have about blindness, and the author will demonstrate some adaptive technologies he uses everyday. Then a librarian will lead the children in a gardening craft. Books will be available for purchase after the event. Thursday, May 5th from 10:00 – 11:00 am. For children of all ages. Please register.
