To honor the memory of a treasured former children’s librarian, the Guilford Free Library and the family of Lana Ferguson present the first annual Lana Ferguson Literary Festival. We will be hosting two sessions of an author talk with Peter Lerangis, best-selling author of The Seven Wonders series as well as several 39 Clues books and many other great titles. All children who attend will receive a free copy of The Legend of the Rift, the brand-new conclusion to the Seven Wonders books. There will be light refreshments and time for interested children to meet the author and get their book signed after each talk. Registration is required and children may only attend one of the two sessions due to space limitations. (Adults may be asked to watch the presentation feed from the lobby if the room cannot fit all attendees. All fans welcome, but most appropriate for children in grades 4-7.) Thursday, April 14th from 10:00-11:00 AM or from 2:00-3:00 PM.
