Lunch & Learn Series: Gem Enhancements, Synthetics, and Fakes with Judith and Robert Schuster

Judith and Robert Schuster have been fashioning jewelry from natural gemstones for over 45 years, and that is but one facet of their hobby as rock hounds. In a program at Guilford Free Library’s Lunch and Learn series they will describe crystal, the science of formation and the chemistry of colorization. They will explain how gemstones can be enhanced, what constitutes synthetic or fake, and how to see the difference.
No registration necessary.
