Otte Preserve Guided Hike
Join GLCT board members, Robin Campot (203-721-0679) and Melissa Robinson for a walk in the woods, across streams and to the Native American caves. Learn about the importance of pollinators and the plants needed to sustain them. Children can disperse milkweed seeds in the open field and learn why many native plant seeds need to be overwintered before they can sprout.Turn off of Great Hill Road onto Saw Mill Hill Road and take the first unfinished driveway on the right. Follow the drive until it bends to the left facing the field and park at the top of the field.
Please meet 10 minutes ahead of hike start time. Leashed dogs may attend hikes unless otherwise stated in the description above. Heavy rain cancels hike.
