Reading can be stressful for children who are struggling with it, and reading to a silent furry partner can help. Sign up for a 15 minute reading slot with licensed therapy dog, Chief, and dog handler Howard Taylor. Parent/legal guardian must sign a permission form for their child to be alone in the room with the dog and therapy supervisor. Register for a 15 minute session between 4:00—5:00 pm, Wednesdays, 4/19, 4/26, 5/10, 5/24, & 6/7. For children ages 6 and up. Call the library at 203-453-8282 or stop by to register.
