Reading can be stressful for children who are struggling with it, and reading to a silent furry partner can help. Sign up for a 15 minute reading slot with licensed therapy dog, Lucy, and dog handler Ellen Siberman. Parent/legal guardian must sign a permission form for their child to be alone in the room with the dog and therapy supervisor. For children ages 6 and up. Register for a 15 minute session between 4:00 – 5:00 pm, Tuesdays, April 4th , May 2nd, May 16th,May 30th, and June 6th. Call the library to register or come to the library in person.
