Paws & Read with Lucy at Guilford Free Library

Reading can be stressful for children who are struggling with it, and reading to a silent furry partner can help. Sign up for a 15 minute reading slot with licensed therapy dog, Lucy, and dog handler Ellen Silberman. Parent/legal guardian must sign a permission form for their child to be alone in the room with the dog and therapy supervisor. For children 6 & up. Register for a 15 minute session between 4:00 – 5:00 pm, Tuesdays, September 19th through December 19th. (Skip Oct. 31 & Nov. 7) Register in person at the library or by phone.
