Shoreline Village Opera Talk: “La Traviata” with Paul Hawkshaw at Guilford Free Library

Paul Hawkshaw, Professor in the Practice of Musicology and Director of the Yale Summer School of Music/Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, will discuss Verdi’s beloved opera, “La Traviata.” This talk is presented prior to the “Live in HD” movies series, the Metropolitan Opera’s Emmy and Peabody Award-winning performance transmissions to movie theaters around the world. “La Traviata” will be shown at Branford’s Regal Cinemas on Saturday, March 11.
