St. George Men’s Group Golf Tournament at Portland Golf Course

St. George Men’s Group is sponsoring a golf tournament to support SAFE and SOUND SCHOOLS Organization, founded by two mothers who lost children at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
SAFE and SOUND’s mission is to: empower school communities to advance and maintain the safety of their schools; provide the education, tools, and resources for community and nationwide engagement in school safety; and to unite the national community of students, teachers, and parents around a non-partisan, practical problem-solving approach to school safety for today’s schools.
The golf tournament will be Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Portland Golf Course, 169 Bartlett St., Portland, CT.
Tournament Schedule: 9:00 AM Registration; 10:30 AM Shotgun Start, 4 ball scramble format; 4:00 PM Social Hour, Beer Wine, Appetizers; and 5:00 PM Dinner/Raffle/Awards.
Awards will be provided by Chris Cote Golf Shop and awards can be redeemed at any of Chris’s shops.
Event emcee will be Bob Maxon, NBC CT Weather.
