Taking Control of Your Long-term Care Options

A panel of specialists will convene at the Library to help you answers your questions and plan solutions to many of the issues surrounding long-term care. Steven Cudgma, CLTC, a Life and Healthcare Specialist with the Richard W. Squeri Agency in Branford, will help with navigating the ever-changing and often confusing world of Medicare, including insights into the low income subsidies available. Attorney Raymond Bower of Cartier & Bower LLC has experience in trust and estate planning, tax planning, and elder care law. Diane Marangelo, RN and Director of Palliative Care with the VNA Community Healthcare will share her views on hospital stays, DNR, the importance of patient advocates, the health care agent, and living wills.
