Tempest Poster Image GuilfordShoreline Arts Alliance in collaboration with Shakesperience Productions, Inc. will be presenting Freeing Thoughts Talk Tour in anticipation of this summer’s Shakespeare on the Shoreline production of The Tempest. The main stage production will take place on the Guilford Green August 2-6, 7:30 pm nightly.
To introduce this summer’s production, to engage the audience in the underlying themes found in The Tempest and to understand the “family friendly” interpretation of this Shakespearean tragicomic romance we invite you to join Emily Mattina, Artistic Director and Dr. David Richman, portraying Prospero, as they present a Round Table Forum discussion about their interpretation of this story.
Attendees will experience the text first hand as they become involved in key scenes during the presentation and understand the concept behind the set design, the creative costuming and the accompanying music.
