Walk ‘n Work Hike Loop Trail 5

We’re now setting our sites on sprucing up the Loop Trail 5: taking in the North East corner of Westwoods. This 2.7 mile loop traverses alternate ridges and valleys and covers areas seldom seen by most hikers. See http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=19138 for a map and loop description. No chainsaw or heavy equipment is allowed. Just wear comfortable shoes, a warm coat and mittens and bring along a set of garden clippers. If you’re as interested in hiking as in trail work., please join us … and spread the word to anyone you think will enjoy the same. We’ll meed at the Dunk Rock Road to Westwoods at 10AM on the 4th. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
