HAPPY 177TH BIRTHDAY, YMCA!
Enjoy our 2nd Virtual 5K Run/Walk in celebration of the YMCA’s 177th Birthday!
- Choose a Fun Run/Walk (1 Mile) or a 5K. Run, walk, stroll or roll! Everyone can participate whether you’re training for another race or just want to walk a little further.
- They complete your Run/Walk between Friday June 4, Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6. You get to decide when you be active.
- Participation is Free! Donations to support the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA Annual Campaign will be accepted.
- Once completed email [email protected] with your Race Results. And a photo (with race bib, Y logoed gear, a birthday hat, treadmill brand or a landmark from the race route) that we can share in social media.

In conjunction with our Second Annual Virtual 5K Run/Walk we will be holding an Athletic Shoe Drive in each Y Branch! We’re partnering with GotSneakers? who will issue funds for our Annual Campaign in compensation for the gently worn, used and new sneakers collected.
