River Street, Guilford, CT
Small park on the West River with benches, views over the marshes, and attractive landscaping. In the 19th century, the landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted visited Guilford. Olmsted saw this view and was influenced by it when designing parks such as Manhattan’s Central Park.
